Three standards for the eyewear industry will be implemented since March 1^st.,2024 in China,as follows:

Recommended national standards:：GB/T 9105-2023《Spectacle lenses, photochromic lenses》 

GB/T 9105-2023 "Spectacle lenses - Photochromic lenses" is a revision of GB/T 9105-1988 "Photochromic glass spectacle lens blanks". As living standards continue to improve, consumers' awareness of eye health continues to increase. Photochromic spectacle lenses can be used as ordinary optical lenses indoors and as sunglasses outdoors, and have attracted widespread attention from consumers.

New standard compared with the original GB/T 9105-1988：

1. The standard name, product scope and term definitions have been changed;

2. With reference to international standards and relevant contents of color-changing performance, detailed provisions are made for photochromic performance parameters;

3. The optical parameters, refractive index, flame retardancy and mechanical strength and other properties are consistent with the existing national and international standards;

4. The relevant regulations on marking, packaging, transportation and storage have been revised.

China Optical Association Group Standard：T/COOA 8—2023 《Graphene nylon glasses frame》,T/COOA 10—2023 《Hard and semi-hard glasses cases》

1.Graphene nylon glasses frame

《Graphene nylon glasses frame》 specifies the requirements for graphene nylon eyeglass frames, describes the corresponding test methods, specifies the content of the mark, and is applicable to eyeglass frames made of graphene nylon material.

2.Hard and semi-hard glasses cases

《Hard and semi-hard glasses cases》specifies the requirements for rigid and semi-rigid eyeglass cases and describes the corresponding test methods. It is applicable to eyeglass cases with fixed shape and non-disposable for storing finished eyeglasses.
